The Mojo Rhodes Band is comprised of Six musicians from six different bands that have come together to form what is soon to be known as the premiere special events band in the Northeast. Our music will bridge generations and bring people together while performing a combination of great music from the 70's 80's 90's and beyond.

John A Morabito Sr: Rhythm Guitar & Vocals

Mojo-Rhodes is the brainchild of John Morabito. His passion for music, along with his vast knowledge of the music industry is the driving force and inspiration behind the band. He is also an exceptional guitarist and vocalist. Be it as a solo act or with a full band, John's tasteful riffs and melodic voice are sure to put you in the right mood.

James R. Fowler, Jr. (Jim) – Lead Vocalist

A seasoned singer and actor, Jim has performed with multiple award-winning vocal groups and has shared the stage with a variety of talented professional musicians. Known for his exceptional vocal range, Jim can perform everything from Journey and Foreigner to Maroon 5 and Bruno Mars. He has been seen with several New England bands including The Sultans, Legend, and Jeffery Thomas’ Ultimate Band. Jim trained under Bruce Borton, a protégé of Robert Shaw.

Introducing Alisa Velasquez: Vocalist

Renowned for her commanding voice and captivating stage presence, Alisa plays a significant role in the Mojo Rhodes Band. In addition to her musical contributions, she is a successful songwriter, with numerous tracks featured on Netflix radio stations that enjoy worldwide streaming. Alisa's energy is boundless; she serves as a vocal coach and band director at the innovative School of Rock, while also dedicating her time to various charitable events.

Meet Robert (Bobby) Dumont.: Lead Guitar & Vocals

Grammy-nominated musician who has toured with direct support for such artists as Ace Frehley, Brett Michaels, Buck Cherry, Candlebox, and Grand Funk Railroad. Bobby a dedicated musician, a storyteller, and a passionate advocate for the transformative power of music. I invite you to join him on this incredible journey as we create, inspire, and connect through the rhythms of life. Let's rock on!

Dan (Boom Boom) Fiore: Percussion & Vocals

There is no doubt that Dan has a great passion for playing the instrument he loves. He brings the dedication and love to the art of music every time he sits behind his drum set. Dan has been playing in bands most of his life and Mojo-Rhodes is honored that one the leading drummers in the area has joined us on this journey.

Ben (The Bass Man ) Charland : Bass Guitar

Ben Charland is a talented young musician who plays the bass guitar with remarkable depth and maturity. In addition to his proficiency on the bass, he is skilled in playing the electric guitar, acoustic guitar, and keyboards. We are fortunate to have discovered his talent before others had the chance to recognize it.

Jamey Gray: Keyboards, & Vocals

Jamey is a seasoned musician who has been playing keyboards in bands in the Northeast for the past 40 years. He is a wonderful addition to the band and we are fortunate to share the stage with him.

Candace Fernandez: Vocals and Percussion

Candace has been singing in Bands and solo events for 20 years and is a true professional. She will be sharing her talent by joining us for all our wedding and special event performances. With perfect tone and phrasing she will keep your attention from the first note to the last.
